The brass at the Air Force Institute of Technology, located at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio, showed off their newest acquisition of high-tech equipment. Students will use the Hurco 5-axis VMX60SR to design and manufacture parts for a telescope they plan to launch to the International Space Station and for radiation detection devices that will be used to find weapons of mass destruction.
